Illness/Medication

If a child becomes ill while at school, he/she will be given lots of TLC. The parent(s) or emergency care person will be notified to pick up the child. Your child must be symptom free for 48 hours before returning to school. Only those medications prescribed to the child by a physician and labeled by a licensed pharmacist will be administered. Medication can only be accepted and administered by the Director or Assistant. This includes machines and medications used for breathing treatments. A doctor’s note is required for breathing treatments. Parents must also sign a Medication Permission Slip before medicine will be given.
